On 07/07/2021the president of the republic, Mr. ABDELMADJID  Tebboune,appointed the new government of Prime Minister AÏMENE  Benabderrahmane, unknown to the general public, of which analysts agree on his technical character within the Algerian administration, where he has been deputy director of the general inspection of finances and in the bank of Algeria in 2010. He has some international experience as Algeria’s delegate to the IMF in the period 2004/2006.

The new government, which will have to devote its efforts to dealing with a complicated economic situation, is composed of 33 ministries of which the prime minister assumes the ministry of finance, and a secretary general of the government, according to the following list:

12. Wafa Chaâlal: Minister of Culture and the Arts
13. Abderezak Sebgag: Minister of Youth and Sports
